As the year comes to a close, it's time to reflect on the achievements of Formula 4 crafted in Italy, which in 2024 reaffirmed its role as a breeding ground for young motorsport talents. Formula 4 represents a crucial stepping stone for drivers pursuing the dream of racing in Formula 1, serving as an essential transition to single-seater competitions and the natural next step after a karting career. The 2024 season delivered unparalleled excitement, with 10 rounds split across the two championships promoted by ACI Sport and WSK Promotion.
The Italian F.4 Championship, founded in 2014, featured seven rounds in 2024. The season began in early May at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli and concluded in late October at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza.
Throughout the year, the championship visited circuits including the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, the Autodromo Piero Taruffi in Vallelunga, the Mugello Circuit, the Paul Ricard Circuit in Le Castellet (France), and the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya (Spain).
As for the Euro 4 Championship, which will officially align with Italian F4's denomination and adopt the name E4 Championship starting in 2025, 2024 marked its second edition. Once again, the championship unfolded over three rounds, kicking off in August at the Mugello Circuit, moving to the Red Bull Ring in September, and concluding at Monza’s Temple of Speed in early October, further solidifying its international prestige.
Staggering numbers
The two championships promoted by ACI Sport and WSK Promotion showcased remarkable figures:
338 drivers competed, with 253 in the Italian F4 and 85 in the E4.
14 teams fielded their talents, featuring the most renowned teams on the global stage.
Drivers hailed from 30 nationalities and 4 continents, underscoring the global appeal of Formula 4 crafted in Italy.
In total, the season comprised 10 completed rounds and approximately 960 minutes of track action, thrilling fans with fierce battles and unforgettable moments.

Both championships promise to remain ideal springboards for the champions of tomorrow.
